Barr Farms is located in Rhodelia, Kentucky. Adam and Rae Strobel Barr farm land that has been in Adam's family since 1835.  The whole family farm is about 260 acres total. Each year, they raise 2000 chickens for meat ("broilers") on pasture, and have about 250 laying hens for eggs ("layers"). The layers roost and lay eggs in a converted school bus, called an "egg-mobile" that gets moved around the fields, so the chickens are on fresh grass, which increases nutrients in the eggs and provides fun for the chickens and helps grow better grass for the cows. Barr Farms also have a 30 head cow/calf operation where they feed and finish the cows 100% on grass, and sell the grassfed beef at area restaurants and farmers markets, and through their Meat CSA.

Boone Creek Creamery Handmade Artisan Cheese is made from all natural JD Country Milk, a family owned Mennonite dairy farm in Logan County. The cows are pasture grazed and never given any antibiotics or hormones. Instead they are fed a vitamin enriched diet and all the grass they can eat. The milk is not homogenized and is pasteurized at just 145 degrees, then quickly cooled to preserve the natural flavor and enzymes that Mother Nature intended. We think the milk tastes better because the cows are happy. You won’t see hydraulic presses and fancy modern equipment in our micro-creamery. Instead, we make our cheeses by hand using traditional European techniques to protect the delicate curds. This is a lot more work and very time consuming, but we believe it creates better cheeses with rich complex flavors. We hope you agree.

Kentucky Kombucha is the most recent enterprise of Long View Organics, LLC. What started 5 years-ago as a small organic microgreen and ready-to-eat salad operation has morphed into Kentucky's first commercial Kombucha manufacturer. Like the microgreens and salads that we eat so much of and wanted to share, so too, is Kombucha a staple of our homestead outside Springfield, Kentucky. When we were between brews we noticed the absence of locally brewed kombucha when we would grocery shop. As a result, we mothballed our other enterprises and converted our state-licensed commercial kitchen into Kentucky's first "Kombuchery" We use only certified organic ingredients and NEVER genetically modified ingredients. Cheers!

Naked Hummus started from a love affair with delicious, REAL food, not to mention our passion for hummus.  We started making small batch hummus using the highest quality, local when possible, seasonal ingredients around and we're sure you'll taste the love.

After many hours of researching how good hummus is for you, we decided to take our families recipes to a new level, inventing flavor profiles to tempt even the most experienced hummus connoisseurs.

My grandfather taught us that "family comes first" and we're proving it, one container of hummus at a time.  Our farmers are a huge part of our family too...we couldn't do it without these amazing people who grow our food.  Taste the difference family makes, we sure can!
